Health Information

To provide our services, we collect health-related information including:

  • GLP-1 medication type and dosage
  • Weight and BMI measurements
  • Symptom logs and health goals
  • Meal photos and nutrition data
  • Injection tracking records

Usage Data

We automatically collect:

  • Device information (type, OS version)
  • App usage patterns and features accessed
  • Crash reports and performance data

Apple HealthKit Data

With your permission, our iOS app integrates with Apple HealthKit to read and write the following health data:

  • Body weight measurements
  • Dietary energy consumed (calories)
  • Dietary protein intake
  • Dietary water intake

HealthKit data is used solely to display your health metrics within the app and is not shared with third parties. You can revoke HealthKit access at any time through your device's Settings > Privacy & Security > Health.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and maintain our services
  • Personalize your experience and AI coaching
  • Send medication reminders and notifications
  • Analyze app performance and improve features
  • Communicate with you about updates and support

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal or health information. We may share data with:

  • Service providers who assist in operating our app
  • Analytics providers (aggregated, de-identified data)
  • Legal authorities when required by law

Third-Party AI Services

Our AI Health Coach feature uses OpenAI's API to process your messages and generate responses. When you use the AI Health Coach:

  • Your health-related questions and conversation messages are sent to OpenAI for processing
  • OpenAI processes your messages using GPT technology to generate responses
  • Your data is not used by OpenAI to train their AI models (per OpenAI API data usage policy)
  • Conversations are stored on Slimstrive servers for your chat history

You must provide explicit consent before using the AI Health Coach. You can delete your conversation history at any time and stop using the AI Coach feature at any point.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Delete your account and associated data
  • Export your data in a portable format
  • Opt out of non-essential communications

Children's Privacy

Slimstrive is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification.
